Colorize

The colorize sub-panel is located in the humaniq panel. It groups properties that you can use to adjust the colors of humaniq assets.

Human assets are split into several segments that can be controlled individually:

  • Hair
  • Upper Clothing
  • Lower Clothing
  • Shoes

Each color also has Colorize Factor that determines how strong the effect is. When set to 0 no colorization happens, when set to 1 only given color is used for the asset. For more realistic results we recommend using values around 0.5 to preserve underlying texture but tint its color.

Colorize Single Asset

Use the top colorize sliders to adjust single asset.

Colorize Multiple Assets

Use the bottom colorize sliders to adjust multiple assets.

Drag & Slide to select multiple Factor inputs

Colorize Randomize

Click the box icon next to color to randomize. Click multiple times to cycle different variations.

Extra Shader Features

Colorize exposes the most useful settings, but if you want to further tweak the materials roughness, specularity etc... or access additional mask segments, you can do so in the shader editor by adjusting the hq_Human_Master nodegroup.

Convert the asset to editable first.
