Frame Generator¶
Frame generator allows you to control the frame generator geometry node setup from the comfort of
the aesthetiq panel. It allows you to control the parts, shape and material of assets framed with
the Frame generator, as well as easily create a new framed image.
Tip
No need to try to add the frame generator to any of aesthetiq's assets. All of them have the generator already attached - however, sometimes the frame itself might be turned off. See this page below to learn how to adjust it.
Do not edit the image plane directly
The frame generator relies on the plane being in "default" position
Frame New Image¶
The button to frame a new image is located on the top of the Frame Generator panel. In the popup, you are asked to select the following properties:
Source of the image¶
Local Image: Select a file on your computer in theImage To Framefield.Image URL: FillImage URLwith URL to an existing image online, and select a folder where the image should be saved in theSave Tofield. Note that the URL must be a direct link to an image you could import to Blender directly.
Local Image is more reliable
If using Image URL option does not work for you, it might be that the URL does not allow direct
downloads. Use your web browser to download the image, and use Local Image option to frame it!
Material¶
- Select one of three pre-made materials:
Painting,Print-Glossy,Print-Matte
Height¶
- Select the requested height of your image
Width¶
- If
Auto Widthis selected, the framed object will have its width computed automatically, using the provided height, and source image's aspect ratio. Otherwise, select your ownWidth.
After clicking OK, the image is spawned into the scene with the Frame generator node group attached.
