How do I update to a new version?

Updates of our addons are free. Updating procedure depends on which website you used to get the product.

Open-source products like engon also have options for automatic updates

BlenderMarket

1. Navigate to BlenderMarket and log in
2. Go to BlenderMarket Orders
3. Click on 'Go to Downloads' next to engon

4. Download the latest version

5. Remove the old version

6. Restart Blender: this is important because Blender might keep outdated files in cache!
7. Install the new version

Gumroad

1. Navigate to Gumroad and log in
2. Go to the Gumroad Library
3. Click on engon

4. Download the latest version

5. Remove the old version

GitHub

1. Download the latest version from GitHub
2. Remove the old version
3. Restart Blender: this is important because Blender might keep outdated files in cache!

Extensions (Blender 4.2+)

If you installed engon from our extensions repository, it will be automatically updated when we release a new version.

Updater

Navigate to engon's preferences to the Updater sections. Click Check now for engon update. If there is a new update available, a button for updating engon will appear. Click the button and wait until the operation finishes.

How do I report a bug? What about making feature requests?

Please refer to the Support page for more information about reporting bugs, making feature requests and getting support.

Can engon be installed on macOS 10?

Yes, engon can be installed to and works on macOS 10. For more information see the Installation part of this documentation.
